We learn and train in Shotokan Karate at the University of Rochester Medical Center.

Shotokan Karate is a traditional Japanese martial art that is practiced all over the world.

We strive to provide a safe and welcoming environment where everybody can have fun learning the fundamentals of karate.

JKA Rochester is a member of the Japanese Karate Asssociation and Shotokan Karate-Do International.

  • Enter the hospital at Patient Discharge.
  • Turn left and walk through the double doors.
  • Turn right and follow the hallway.
  • Turn right after MRI.
  • Turn left and walk to the URMC Fitness Center.

There is free parking along Celebration drive.
